Lennar Homes Project

A proposed residential community, Raven’s Crest Development, is located along Gladeville Road, south of its interaction with Central Pike in Gladeville, Tennessee.

The project will include an addition of a turn lane to accommodate the new development. The current conditions of Gladeville Road consists of a two-lane asphalt paved roadway with existing underground facilities that run parallel to the roadway. Buried utilities within the limits of the proposed improvements includes an 18” ductile-iron water line.

To protect the existing water line, Lightweight cellular concrete was placed as one of the layers for the additional fill material to reduce the loads imposed by the weight of the additional fill and traveling traffic. Cell-Crete poured roughly 150 CY of Class II (30 PCF) of LCC along the turn lane widening.
