Bois d’Arc Lake

PROJECT LOCATION

North Texas

The Project

The project consists of approximately 60 miles of pipeline that is being installed to transport water from Bois D’Arc Lake for treatment and then onto the NTMWD regional water system. Cell-Crete was hired to grout the annular space of 26 separate sections where open cut construction was not an option. The sections varied in length from 100 LF up to 1,300 LF.

The Solution

The grouting was done in lifts through feed lines inside of the annular space. Each grout section had a 108’ ID Casing and an 84” OD Carrier Pipe. The video shows the cellular grout being expelled from an outlet vent pipe of the line on one of our last lifts. Once we top out a section, we shut the valve and move on to the next location, repeating the grout process.
